Miura Daichi (三浦大知)or just DAICHI (born 24 August 1987) is an R&B artist & dancer. He began his career at the age of 9 as the lead singer of Folder, where he was dubbed “Japan’s Smallest Soulman.” He was best known for his dancing and his amazingly powerful voice, especially for someone his age. Daichi took a break from the music business at the age of 12 when his voice began to change and members of Folder went on to become Folder5.
At 17 years old, he released his first solo single.
Now 21 years old, he is continuing his pop career. His first solo single entitled Keep It Goin' On was released by the avex trax label on March 30th 2005.

He was the lead singer of the vocal/dance group Folder (1997–2000). Then he left the group when his voice changed.

In 2005, he debuted as solo singer with the single "Keep It Goin' On".
